Let’s diving, finally!
The day before we booked in our hotel a full-day tour to the islands located near to Nha Trang for 600,000 VND, approximately 96 PLN. The price includes entrance to the 3 islands (Mun, Mot, Tam) and dinner on one of the islands. Diving was not included in the price, it was additionally paid 450,000 VND.
My only concern about this day was the weather, which was a bit capricious the day before. I woke up at 6:10 and ran quickly to the windows to open the curtains and see what the weather is like today. The weather was the most beautiful today since the beginning of our stay! Since that, I did not worry about anything more 🙂
Our group was quite numerous, and each of the participants dived about 15 – 20 minutes. In the end, it was our turn. I have already tried diving a few years ago in Nha Trang, but for this price, I wanted to repeat this experience for the second time. We dived at a depth of 5 to 10 meters. Beautiful coral reefs, full of colourful fishes. A great thing, an absolute must!
Two hours passed and we set off to the next island Mot, where the meal was prepared for us i.e. omelette with eggs, chicken skewers, roasted calamari, fried prawns, pork, fresh vegetables and of course rice. Even such a simply prepared meal was very tasty.
The last point of the trip was the Tam island. It was the biggest island with plenty of different water attractions. We had one and a half hours of free time. The weather was still very enjoyable
I need to admit, that perhaps the most interesting element of our trip was our guide Salem. It’s hard to describe exactly why he was so unique. Maybe because he was incredibly funny and all the time smiling! Vietnamese people are like that, full of love and smile!
The trip ended at 5 p.m. The bus took us straight to the hotel. It was time for dinner so we went to the city to look for a good place. Hmmm, okay, the place has already been chosen before. As I am a big fan of Asian cuisine, especially Japanese one, I could not resist trying convenience my Patrick for a dinner at one of a Japanese restaurant. I know, he was partly right, being in Vietnam and eat Japanese cuisine? But, this is completely reasonable! First of all, prices are as low as a Vietnamese restaurant, and secondly, because of a fresh seafood and fishes. For miso soup, 12 pieces of sushi, prawn tempura, udon noodles with beef and 2 beers, we paid only 345 000 VND, approximately 55 PLN. So yummy! I was in heaven.
At the end of the day, we would still walk along the beach and admire the beautiful sunset.
